I’m Tirawat, a 21-year-old developer from Thailand, and I’m incredibly excited to introduce MicroCode today.
The Origin Story:
Like many of you, I basically live in my code editor. But I grew deeply frustrated with the compromises we are forced to make. We constantly have to choose between the flexibility of Electron-based editors (which eat up RAM and drain the battery) or the raw performance of Xcode (which can feel bulky and less adaptable for modern workflows).
I wanted a third option. So, I decided to build it myself.

MicroCode is Thailand’s first native macOS IDE built to challenge the giants. It’s engineered specifically for developers who value speed, aesthetics, and efficiency.
