What inspired me to build MeddraLearn? The idea behind MeddraLearn is actually quite simple. I couldn't find a practical tool that people could publicly use to learn and practice real MedDRA coding hands-on. Many MedDRA training programs are based heavily on presentations, guidelines, and theoretical examples, but when someone is new to pharmacovigilance or clinical trials, they often need a place where they can actually practice coding and learn by doing. That gap is what motivated me to build this. I also looked at it from an enterprise perspective. Companies may have access to MedDRA, but providing every employee with a separate environment or subscription just for training and practice isn't always practical. In many cases, one enterprise setup doesn't necessarily mean everyone gets a simple, dedicated place to practice. So I wanted to create something that makes hands-on learning more accessible for individuals, while also giving companies a practical way to train their teams. The idea is not to replace formal MedDRA training. It's simply to make the learning process more practical, interactive, and closer to what people actually do in their day-to-day work. That's how Meddra-Learn started. I'm still actively developing it, so I'd really love to hear from PV professionals, clinical research teams, MedDRA coders, HCPs, and people trying to enter the field.
