I built mBeatz because I watched too many talented artists here in Kenya get stuck at the same point: they had the voice, the bars, the vision, but no beat to record over. Studio time is expensive, and finding a producer who actually delivers on time is its own struggle. So I started making beats myself and selling them directly, no middleman, no waiting weeks for a reply. At first it was just me posting instrumentals on Instagram and sending files over WhatsApp when someone wanted to buy. It worked, but it was slow and messy, and I kept losing track of who had already bought what. That's when I decided to build mBeatz into an actual platform, somewhere artists could browse, pay with M-Pesa, and get their beat delivered straight to their email in seconds. Every beat on mBeatz is sold once. When you buy it, it's yours, no one else is walking around with the same instrumental under their song. That mattered to me because I've seen how frustrating it is to drop a track and find out someone else used the exact same beat. It's not just for musicians either.
