I built MailCalm because I wanted one very specific thing: proper round robin for a busy Microsoft 365 team inbox, without asking the team to move into a helpdesk or learn another system. The idea is deliberately simple. MailCalm runs quietly on one Mac and routes new emails to the right person while everyone carries on working in Outlook as normal. Over time I added the things that stop round robin becoming annoying in real life: returning conversations staying with the same person, availability and working schedules, specialist routing, separate round-robin groups, and a safe way to put an email back into the rotation if it lands with the wrong person. It’s intentionally not trying to become a helpdesk. It’s for teams that really do just want the inbox shared out properly.
