LoveCapsule

Your child’s memories, stored in your Google Drive—forever.

Family photo apps store your kids’ memories on their servers. We didn’t like that. LoveCapsule is built differently—every memory is stored in your own Google Drive. That means you own your data, you control access, and your kids’ memories don’t disappear if an app shuts down. We’ve built this around an emotional, family-friendly experience: • Add context to kids' memories • Memories automatically organized by year • Invite loved ones to contribute • Gift the capsule to your kid to own forever

Hey everyone — Joe here, founder of LoveCapsule 👋 I built this after my daughter was born. Like most parents, I started taking hundreds of photos and videos… but they ended up scattered across my phone, shared albums, and family photo sharing apps. And I kept thinking: What happens to all of this in 10, 20, 30 years? And how do I capture the emotions of each memory in a way that it is made permanent? Today's private family photo sharing apps store your memories on their servers, and most of them are small & I didn't trust them long-term. If they shut down, change, or lose your data… it’s out of your control. So I built LoveCapsule differently. Every photo, video, and story is stored directly in your own Google Drive—so you fully own & control your child’s memories. On top of that, we built a simple experience for families: (1) Create a private memory capsule for each child (2) Add context and stories to each moment (3) Automatically organize memories by year (4) Invite loved ones to safely contribute The goal isn’t just storage. It’s to create a secure, priceless gift that you can one day give to your child. Would genuinely love your feedback—especially on: 👉 Does the Google Drive ownership piece resonate? 👉 Anything missing that you’d want as a parent/family member? Thanks for checking it out 🙏

Who hunted LoveCapsule?

LoveCapsule was hunted by Joseph Nolan. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
