Longplay
Finish the work that defines your legacy.
Longplay is a strategic project platform for freelancers, fractional leaders, agencies, and creative operators who manage complex, long-term work. Unlike corporate task tools built for linear workflows and constant motivation, Longplay organizes your life and ambitions into structured 8–12 week seasons, tracks meaningful milestones instead of endless tasks, and uses a built-in AI assistant to plan, rebalance, and stay focused.
I built Longplay because I kept starting creative projects that mattered to me... and not finishing them. Not because I didn't care. Not because I wasn't disciplined. But because everything I was using was designed for ticky-tacky tasks, not long-term, meaningful work. Things like launching a podcast, building a product, writing consistently, getting better at photography, filming a documentary, or doing great work for clients, don't always fit neatly into checklists, and motivation fluctuates.
So I started experimenting with a different approach. What if creative work had seasons? What if you committed to finishing something every 10 weeks? What if you focused on milestones instead of endless tasks? That idea turned into Longplay.
A few things I personally love about it: The Seasons force clarity and urgency, while Milestones map weekly so you actually make progress on key Projects. Deep Work Mode strips everything down to "just do the work," and Works in Progress track momentum before anything is finished. There is also a daily journal to capture progress that would otherwise go unnoticed.
This isn't about doing more. It's about finishing something that matters. I've been using Longplay myself to build and launch my podcast, write consistently, grow a business, and, somewhat ironically, ship Longplay itself.
I would genuinely love your feedback, thoughts, and ideas! If you've ever struggled to finish something meaningful, this is for you. Thanks for checking it out!

Who hunted Longplay?
Longplay was hunted by Alexander Stonehouse. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
