I built Email Infrastructure Statistics to make long-term changes in the email ecosystem easier to see and understand. The project analyzes 10 years of DNS data across the Tranco Top 1M, tracking Google, Microsoft, self-hosted email, MX providers, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and the long tail of smaller providers. The research behind the project was published on RIPE Labs and later featured by Internet Society and other industry publications. The tool is free, requires no signup, and is meant to make the underlying data accessible to anyone interested in email infrastructure. I’d love to hear what trends or datasets you’d like to see added next.
