Lisseno

Hear any call in your language — and reply in it. Live, BYOK

Lisseno translates meetings both ways on your Mac: hear Zoom, Teams and Meet in your language, then reply in yours while the call hears the translation. No bot joins. BYOK: your OpenAI key, audio goes directly to OpenAI; Lisseno stores nothing.

Hi Product Hunt - Florian here. I made Lisseno. The short version: some of my most important work calls are in languages I only half speak. Following along was fine. Answering was the problem. By the time I'd found the words in the right tone, the moment had usually passed and everyone was waiting. So Lisseno translates both directions. You hear Zoom, Teams, or Meet in your language and when it's your turn you just talk in your own language and the call hears the translated reply. No bot joins the meeting. Nobody on the other side installs anything. A few things worth knowing before you try it: It's a native macOS app and BYOK. Your OpenAI key lives in the macOS Keychain, audio goes straight from your Mac to OpenAI and Lisseno itself runs no audio backend and stores nothing. Privacy was an actual design goal here, not a line for the website. Speaking of the website: no ad pixels, no data selling. The only analytics is EU-hosted PostHog, enough for me to see what's working. Not on a Mac? A Chrome extension is coming within the next two weeks. If you run your calls in the browser, that covers Windows and Linux too. It's an early build and the tested app matrix is still small. Before a call that actually matters, run both directions for a minute first. That's what I do myself. OpenAI usage is billed separately on your own key. For launch week, lifetime early access is €249 for Listen + Speak, or €99 for Listen as the entry option. Limited to the first 200 lifetime licenses, until July 21. I'm around all day and genuinely want the criticism, rough edges and dealbreakers included. That's what this launch is for. One thing I'd especially like to hear: which meeting app and which language pair would you throw at it first?
