Maker here. The thing I could not get past: cold outreach to local businesses fails because there is nothing to say. "Hi, I run social media for salons" is a message about me. "Your Instagram last posted 210 days ago" is a message about them, and it is the only version that gets a reply. So LeadClue measures exactly that one number. You pick a business type, a place and a radius, and it searches Google Maps inside the circle you drew, reads each business's own website for the contacts and social links they publish themselves, then checks Facebook and Instagram for the date of the last post. It ranks by how long each one has been silent and hands you the rows with the evidence attached. Three things I would rather say up front than have you find out: - Dormancy is measured on Facebook and Instagram only. TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and X get collected and delivered as links, but we do not read their post dates, and we never score a business as silent on a platform we did not check. - The leads are not exclusive. The same business can turn up in someone else's list. - If a check gets skipped, budgeted out or fails, the row says so instead of quietly scoring that business as silent. Every order includes rows like that, it costs us conversions on all of them, and pretending otherwise is how these products get untrustworthy. The free sample is the same code path as a paid order, not a demo. Same pipeline, same scoring, same three guardrails on spend. It just has smaller numbers on its budget. Happy to answer anything, including how the dormancy detection actually works and where it breaks.

Who hunted LeadClue?
LeadClue was hunted by William Dns. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
