Lacuna
A library of known and lost works visualized by nodes.
About 99% of ancient Greek literature has been lost to history. Lacuna performs lost work profile construction to get it back. A library of known and lost works visualized by an aesthetic interactive knowledge graph that contains both regular and 'ghost' nodes linked by citation reference.
I was listening to some podcast. Don't remember the episode or who was speaking. But I do hearing a line that went something like 'x% of ancient intellectual works are lost to history, and only know they exist because they are constantly referenced in other surviving works'. I felt this was very profound and very sad.
This project is my best attempt at giving us the possibility of a snapshot of the intellectual body previous civilizations were built upon. Visualized like an Obsidian graph and strict in citation to ensure no hallucination.
