Hi Hunters,
I built JDM Tackle Deals because I kept opening 40 Rakuten tabs to comparison-shop a single crankbait, and none of them were in English.
If you fish JDM, you know the problem. Rakuten Ichiba has thousands of specialty fishing shops selling the gear Western anglers pay two to three times more for on Amazon or eBay. The whole surface is in Japanese, the search is built for domestic buyers, and Google Translate turns the abbreviated spec vocabulary into gibberish.
So I built the English layer. It pulls live listings from four sources (Rakuten Ichiba, JDM Tackle Heaven, Digitaka, and Asian Portal Fishing) into one deduplicated record, normalizes the specs into English, shows Digitaka stock counts, and tracks weekly price drops. Prices display in USD, EUR, and GBP with the Zenmarket forwarder spread baked in, so what you see matches what you pay at checkout.
Checkout routes straight to Zenmarket. I do not take a commission yet. This one is a labor of love for now.
