Isle sits at the top of your screen. Closed, it's a small pill with a little face. It looks around, waves when you sign in, and hides in a game or a video. Hover or click and it opens. Music. Volume for each app. Clipboard. A timer, pomodoro, and today's calendar. Notes. Drop a file or a shortcut on it and open it later. Wi-Fi, brightness, night light. Battery, and a speed check. Stick it to the top or let it float. Change the color. If the face is too much, turn it off and keep the clock.
Hey, I'm Gökhan. Solo dev. Most of my evenings the last few months went into this.
I wanted a Dynamic Island on Windows. The ones I tried were fine, just a strip of widgets. None of them felt like they were actually sitting there. So I built Isle.
It's a small island at the top of the screen. Closed, there's a little face. It looks around, waves when you sign in, and gets out of the way in a game or a video. Hover or click and it opens into the stuff I use every day:
Music, with the art and real controls
Volume for each app
Clipboard
A timer, pomodoro, and today's calendar
Notes
Files and shortcuts. Drop one on the island, open it later
Wi-Fi, brightness, night light
Battery, and a quick speed check
You can stick it to the top or let it float, and change the color. If the face is too much, turn it off and keep the clock.
