Top comment

Inko is a daily emoji check-in app for families. Every morning, you pick up to three emojis to say "I'm ok." Your family sees your streak. If someone misses their check-in, you get a notification. Think Demumu / "Are You Dead Yet?" but the opposite. Less "are you dead," more "hey, I'm still here." I built it for my parents, the name comes from the first two letters of each. It started as a weekend project and turned into something real when a missed check-in helped someone get a family member to the ER in time. Completely free. Premium unlocks extra contacts and more emojis for a one-time $1.99.

Who hunted Inko?

Inko was hunted by Ola Stenberg. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
