Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m the indie maker behind HomeLog. I built HomeLog because I kept running into the same small questions at home: Where did I put this? Do I already own one? Is it about to expire? Do I actually use it? I wanted a private, local-first iPhone app that could answer those questions without requiring an account or turning item logging into another chore. HomeLog helps you capture household items, organize them by storage area and tags, track quantities and real-world usage, set reminders, and maintain a restock list. For version 1.1.0, I spent 10 days working through user feedback: faster photo cutouts, smoother batch logging, richer usage history, tag filters, drag-to-reorder, and a major iOS 17 fix. Many of these changes are deliberately small—one less tap or one less repeated field—but those details matter in an app you use every day. How do you currently keep track of the things in your home?
