Hey Product Hunt 👋 The Word Recorded. The Spirit Remembered. I kept losing verses. A line would land in a service, or mid-podcast, or during my own reading the kind that stops you cold, and by the next day I couldn't place it. My notes were split across a Notes app, a napkin, and a memory that fades faster than I'd like to admit. Bible apps are built for reading, not for the thirty seconds right after a verse lands, so I built the thing I actually needed. Capture has to be fast enough to survive being mid-sermon. If it takes more than a few seconds, or pulls you out of the moment to open an app and navigate to a "new note" screen, you don't do it you just tell yourself you'll remember, and you don't. the first version normalized whatever you typed as you typed it, which sounds helpful and was actually the opposite typing "John 3:16" and backspacing the "16" kept getting silently rewritten back to "John 3:16" because the parser defaulted the missing verse to 1. I moved normalization to happen on blur instead, so the field stays editable while you're actually thinking. Voice capture had a similar lesson: the mic icon just changed color when recording, which is invisible when your thumb is covering the button that pressed it nobody could tell it was still listening. It's now an unmissable filled pill with a pulsing dot and the word "Stop." And when people couldn't remember the *reference* at all, only the gist ("the one about eagles' wings"), I added search that resolves a description to the real verse checked against actual scripture before it ever reaches you, so it can't hand you something that doesn't exist. It's live on iOS today (web + Android next). Would love to hear how you currently keep track of what you hear I'm guessing it's some version of the same napkin-and-Notes-app chaos I had.
