Grocyr
Turn your grocery list into a Pixel Art RPG adventure
Most grocery lists are boring chores. Grocyr turns your supermarket run into an epic Pixel Art RPG. Every item you buy earns you XP and loot to battle bosses and level up your character. Designed for people who'd rather be questing than shopping, it makes sure you never forget the milk again—because now, the milk is a quest item. Level up your real life, one aisle at a time. Simple, fun, and finally, a list you'll actually want to complete.
I’m the creator of Grocyr. I built this because I’m a disaster at the supermarket. I can remember the exact stats of a legendary sword in an RPG, but I’ll forget the eggs 100% of the time if I don't have a list.
The problem: Most productivity apps feel like work. They are just digital paper. You open them, you feel bored, you close them. There's no "win" state for buying groceries.
Our approach: Gamification that actually feels like a game. I’ve spent months crafting the pixel art and the RPG loop so that crossing off "Toilet Paper" gives you the same dopamine hit as finishing a dungeon. You get loot, you gain XP, and you face bosses based on how well you complete your real-world "Loot Run."
It’s my first app and I’m a solo dev, so I’m really looking for your honest feedback on the balance and the art style! :)
💎 If you want a head start, there's a "Share" button in the Settings menu. Tap it to share the app and you’ll instantly get 50 Gems to spend on your character!
It's my first every app so I would like your feedback :)
