Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Yousef, the founder of GreenRah. GreenRah began with a simple problem: in a hot city, the shortest walking route is often not the most comfortable one. Two nearby streets can feel completely different depending on the sun, building shade, trees, slope, and time of day. Most navigation apps optimise mainly for speed. GreenRah helps you consider comfort too. It is a heat-smart walking map that helps people compare city paths using live weather, sun position, building and tree shade, terrain slope, and thermal comfort. You can also find useful places along the way, such as drinking water, public toilets, and trees. The first version starts with EU & GB. I built GreenRah for anyone who feels urban heat first: people visiting a city, older adults, families, people with limited mobility, and everyday walkers who want a gentler way to move.
