I built Green Bubbles because I carry an Android phone but live in Apple's ecosystem - iPad, Mac. Green Bubbles is a native app that brings Google Messages to macOS and iOS. One QR scan (or Google Account Login) from your Android, and your conversations just show up: texts, photos, voice messages, reactions, typing indicators with push notifications that arrive instantly even when the app is closed. Privacy is the foundation, not a feature. Push notifications are end-to-end encrypted using keys generated on your device that never leave it. There is no intermediary server to process messages. Our options push notifications server only ever sees sealed, encrypted blobs we literally can't read your messages. No accounts, no analytics, no third-party SDKs. It's completely free, and it'll stay that way. This community gave me my start as a self-taught developer, and this is my way of giving back.
