Gmail power tools by Leadomator
Free Chrome tools that fix Gmail's most annoying gaps
Four free Chrome extensions for people who live in Gmail: block a sender in one click, auto-mark mail as read with simple rules, get warned before sending from the wrong address or alias, and close empty tab groups automatically. They send no telemetry.
I run a few small software businesses, which means one Gmail account juggling several addresses: support@ for one product, another alias for the next, my own address for everything else. These four extensions started as fixes for things that kept biting me.
Gmail Sender Guard: I replied to customers from the wrong alias more times than I'd like to admit. Now, if I reply from a different address than the one the email came to, or write to someone from an address I don't usually use with them, it asks before sending.
Block Sender for Gmail: some senders ignore unsubscribe. It adds a Block button right next to Report spam, for an open email or several selected at once.
Gmail Filter: receipts and notifications I want to keep, but not see as unread. Select an email, trim the subject, and it creates a mark-as-read filter for that sender. No filter syntax.
Tab Group Janitor: not Gmail, same itch. Tab groups left holding only blank tabs close themselves after a delay you set.
They're free and send no telemetry. I built them for my own inbox and use them daily, so they'll keep getting fixed.
Two questions for you: what's the Gmail annoyance you'd fix next? And if you send from aliases, does Sender Guard catch your setup?
