I started this project because I kept running into the same problem: I needed character art for content I was making, but I'm not an artist, and existing AI tools either required a 20-minute tutorial or gave me generic results I couldn’t control.
So I built GirlGenerator — the idea is simple: type what you want, pick a style, and get a result in seconds. No learning curve.
A few things I’m proud of:
- 8 distinct styles that actually feel different (anime, realistic, chibi, cyberpunk, watercolor, sketch, pixel art, 3D render)
- Image-to-image mode — upload a photo or rough sketch, pick a style, and it transforms it (my favorite feature)
- No account wall — you get free credits the moment you open the page
The model powering it (Nano Banana 2) is surprisingly strong at character art — especially faces, hair, and clothing details. That’s what made me believe this could be a focused tool, not just another “generate anything” platform.
Still a lot I want to improve: better hands, more consistent multi-image characters, and more styles. Would genuinely love feedback on what to build next.
