The Someday Post

An AI reporter interviews you on the day you made it

FutureMirror is now The Someday Post, with a rebuilt interview. Pick the day you made it. An AI reporter interviews you as that future you, follows up on what you actually say, and your answers become that day's front page. New since April: interviews in Japanese as well as English and Korean, an anonymized version you can post to the Newsstand, and Story Cards for sharing. First front page free, no card. Then $1.99 for one or $4.99 for three. AI-written fiction, not advice. 16+.

Hey Product Hunt!

I'm Yeongju, a mechanic-turned-coder building this on my own in Yeosu, South Korea. It first launched here in April as FutureMirror.

Whenever I wrote a goal down as "I want to...", it felt vague. Talking about it as something I had already done felt different, so I built a way to do that.

You pick the day you made it, and an AI reporter interviews you as that future you: what you did, what led you there, the hard stretch. Your answers become the front page of that day's paper.

What changed since April:

  • A new name: The Someday Post

  • A rebuilt interview. The reporter follows up on what you just said, one question at a time

  • Japanese, alongside English and Korean

  • Your front page stays private. You can post an anonymized version to the Newsstand

  • Story Cards (9:16) for sharing

Future Bridge is optional. Turn it on and pieces of your front page come back by email now and then until your date.

The first front page is free, no card. After that it's $1.99 for one or $4.99 for three, no subscription. It's AI-written fiction, not advice, and it's for 16+.

I'd love to hear where the interview felt off, or which line on your front page didn't sound like you.
