Oh Hey Product Hunt! I’m Anthony, founder of Fraimic.
Fraimic started with a pretty simple question: why are digital frames still mostly just backlit, blue light filled screens in gaudy frames that cycle through photos?
I wanted something that felt more like a real canvas, something that could actually help you create, not just display what already exists.
That idea eventually became Voice-to-Vision™. You tap the canvas, say what you want to see, and Fraimic turns that idea into artwork directly on the wall. No pulling out your phone, opening an app, writing the perfect prompt, generating an image, downloading it, and then sending it somewhere else. The canvas itself is where the creative process starts.
E Ink ended up being just as important to the idea. I didn’t want another glowing screen hanging in the house, so Fraimic uses a paper-like color E Ink display with no traditional backlight. It uses very little power, stays cordless, and when an image is displayed, it simply stays there.
Along the way, we kept removing things rather than adding them. No dedicated app. No required subscription. No power cable hanging down the wall. You can create with your voice, upload your own photos and artwork, or just leave one image up for months.
The biggest shift for me was realizing we weren’t really building a smarter digital frame. We were building a new kind of creative tool.
I’ve spent most of my career building physical products (check out my previous PH launches from Hooke Audio, Logitech acquired us in 2021), and there’s still something magical to me about an idea becoming an object you can actually live with. Fraimic has been one of the most ambitious things I’ve built, and I’m incredibly excited to finally share it with the Product Hunt community.
