I found myself spending way too much time manually checking different sources just to keep up with the news I cared about. So I built a personal agent that scans leading publishers every day, filters for stories I’d find interesting, and gives me a quick summary + a first pass on why this story matters. A bunch of my friends said they’d love something like this for them too, so I scaled it into First Pass (https://firstpass.news). You can choose from a set of existing topics, or suggest your own, and the agents will find automatically find the best sources and ingest them.
