I built FinLab because I was tired of finance apps that know more about my money than I do.
Everything lives locally — no accounts, no sync, no subscriptions. But what surprised me most during the build was how good a fully offline finance system could actually look and feel. The dashboard updates live as you log transactions, budgets track themselves, and monthly reports just appear.
