Fillaid - AI Form Filler
JEV-powered form filler for the fields Chrome autofill skips
Fillaid is a Chrome extension that fills any web form from one profile of your details, in one click. It handles the fields Chrome autofill leaves blank: dropdowns, multiple-choice options, phone numbers split across boxes and unusually built forms. Passwords are never saved or filled.
It's a Chrome extension that fills web forms. Not just name and address like Chrome does, but the whole thing: dropdowns, radio buttons, a phone number split into 3 boxes, "legal name" vs "preferred name", the extra questions that show up after you pick an option.
Why: I fill a lot of long forms (clinic intake, school stuff, rental applications) and Chrome autofill gives up after the first 4 fields. Every other form filler I tried either matched field names with regex, or sent everything to an LLM that made answers up.
How it works: simple rules on your device handle the obvious fields (email, phone). The confusing ones go to JEV, TypeSafe's decision model. JEV doesn't generate text. It gets your saved values and picks one per field, or "none", with a probability. So it can't make up a value you never gave it.
Numbers, because I spent more time on the benchmark than on the extension:
33 test forms I built + 15 real forms saved from live sites. 668-field answer key, written by hand.
First version: 55% of filled fields correct. Yeah.
My own fine-tuned Qwen 1.7B: 88.8% on the test forms, 87% on the real ones.
JEV, same forms, same day: 98.0% on both. 25/33 and 12/15 forms with every single field right.
About 0.8 s per form, well under a cent per form.
What it still gets wrong: "Preferred name" when your profile says Alexander (JEV can't shorten it to Alex), boxes with no label at all, a few 50/50 fields.
Privacy: your profile stays in your browser. Nothing fills until you click. Passwords are never saved, filled or sent. On a Pro fill, the field labels and the values that could match go out for that one fill, and no model is trained on them. Free tier sends nothing.
For PH: first month of Fillaid Pro is free with code PRODUCTHUNT, cancel any time.
If it messes up a form, tell me which one. That's how I fixed the last 10%.
