FFWD adds a small control bar to every video: speed from 0.1× to 16×, A–B loops, a 600% volume boost, a seek bar for Instagram Reels, filters, frame screenshots and Picture-in-Picture. Every control has a keyboard shortcut. Free, no account, no tracking.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Shafu. FFWD started as "YouTube Speed Controller", a small extension that only changed the speed on YouTube. Version 2 is a rewrite that works on almost any video on the web. What it does: • Speed from 0.1× to 16×, remembered per site, and kept when a site resets it on the next video • A seek bar and speed control for Instagram Reels, which have neither on the web • A–B loop, frame-by-frame stepping, skip by any number of seconds • Volume boost up to 600%, and mono for one earbud • Brightness, contrast, zoom, rotate, mirror, save the frame as a PNG, Picture-in-Picture • A shortcut for every control (S / D for speed, the keys you know from other speed controllers) It's free, with no account, no ads and no analytics. Nothing you watch leaves your browser. I'd love to hear which sites it doesn't work well on yet, and what you'd want next.
