FalconCheck
Real-time API monitoring with latency insights and alerts
FalconCheck offers real-time API monitoring with instant alerts, performance insights, and customizable multi-step checks. It alerts developers when their services experience downtime, slow response times, or errors, helping them maintain reliable infrastructure.
Hey PH! 👋
Honestly, the origin story is embarrassing. I kept finding out my APIs were down because users told me. No alerts, no visibility, nothing.
I looked for tools to fix this but everything felt either overkill for indie devs or too shallow (just pinging a URL isn't real monitoring). So I built what I actually wanted: FalconCheck.
Real-time endpoint monitoring, instant alerts, performance trends, and multi-step checks that simulate actual API behavior, not just "is it alive?".
The thing that surprised me most while building it: alerts alone aren't enough. You need context to act fast. That's what drove most of the product decisions.
Curious, how are you all currently handling API reliability? Is it just vibes and hoping for the best, or do you have something in place? 😅
