What inspired EventSnaps? After attending countless weddings, birthday parties, and corporate offsites, I noticed a recurring problem: hosts spend weeks planning an event, but rarely get to see it from their guests' perspectives. You either have to chase people for photos afterward or rely on platforms that force everyone to download a new app or create an account.
The Problem this solves I wanted to completely remove the friction from photo sharing at live events, while still giving the host total control over what is displayed.
How it works: **Zero-friction for guests:** Guests simply scan a custom QR code (you can print our generated templates directly on table cards!) and instantly upload photos from their phone's browser. No app, no signup. **Built-in Moderation:** You and your invited co-moderators can quickly approve or reject photos from a private dashboard before they go public. **Live Wall Experience:** Approved photos instantly appear on a beautiful, auto-refreshing public wall or fullscreen slideshow that you can project at the venue.
Approach: Focused heavily on global reliability and performance. EventSnaps relies on an edge-first architecture (Cloudflare Workers, Supabase, React) ensuring uploads are immediate and the live wall auto-refreshes seamlessly. I've even built in regional geographic pricing so it's accessible whether you're a local wedding host or an international event planner.
