Hi Product Hunt 👋

I’m Gabriele, CEO and co-founder of Elemento Cloud. I’m a physicist by training, with a background in distributed computing at CERN. My team and I have spent years building virtualization and cloud orchestration software.

Last winter, a friend who runs a design agency bought a Mac Studio to use AI on client files without sending them to someone else’s servers. Three weeks later, he still didn’t have a working setup. Downloading a model had been the easy part. Then came the vector database, n8n, and access for his team. Every step meant another terminal tutorial.

I spent a Saturday getting it all running. He had bought a tool for his work and ended up with an infrastructure project.

That was a familiar problem. We’d spent years managing this complexity in data centers. It made sense to bring that experience to a single machine on a desk.

That’s why we built Electros Launchpad. 🚀

It turns your Mac or NVIDIA-powered machine into a private AI cloud:

  • 🧠 Models matched to your hardware, installed in one click.

  • 🧩 60 self-hosted services, including OpenClaw, n8n, Open WebUI, and Qdrant, each installed in one click.

  • 🔑 One OpenAI-compatible gateway, with scoped, revocable API keys, so your apps and your team can use your models through the same endpoint.

The goal is straightforward: spend your time using AI, with much less time spent assembling and managing the infrastructure around it.

Our approach is Hybrid AI. For me, where a workload runs should depend on privacy, performance, and cost. Keep sensitive data and everyday workloads on hardware you own, with no per-token API bill for local inference. When you need more capacity, scale out to the cloud through Electros, using the same account and tools.

Local first, cloud when it makes sense.

🎁 For the launch, we’re offering 200 founding licenses at $179 one-time, including lifetime updates. The offer runs until November 30; the standard license will be $159/year.

Product Hunt members get an additional discount with code 26ELP20. If you want to try it first, there’s a 14-day free trial, no card needed.

I’d particularly like to hear from people already running—or trying to run—AI on their own hardware:

  • What hardware are you using today?

  • Which services should we add to the catalog next?

  • What’s the biggest obstacle to running more of your workloads locally?

The team and I will be here all day. Technical questions, missing features, things you think we got wrong: all welcome.
