Does anyone here understand all the legal mumbo jumbo, technical requirements, and loopholes around the 2023 electric vehicle (EV) tax credits? Not only is it a confusing, hot mess, but some factors seem to change every month, like which models qualify and how individual states deliver their EV incentives.
We realized the average car buyer would never be able to figure out how much of a tax credit they could get on their own. So after we reviewed 30 pages of the new tax regulations and what each of the 50 states offers EV buyers, we decided to boil them down into a straightforward calculator.

Surprisingly, no one else has created a calculator for this yet. Perhaps because the rules are such a pain to decipher. At any rate, we're first to market and hope to help the average car buyer make an informed purchase.
