I am a full time software engineer. On the side, I do freelancing and contract work a lot. I have different timesheets that I had to manage and I was using a doc file to do so. It was getting very hard to maintain this so I decided to try wave. But wave felt too complicated for my needs. All I needed to was log my hours, include the tasks I completed in so and so hours, get a pdf of everyweek's timesheet and send it to my employer on a weekly basis. And at the end of the month, I had to manually make a invoice from my timesheets. But wave for me, felt more like an accounting platform then simply just logging my hours. That's when I decided to create easy timesheet. At first, I was just using it for myself, streamlining my invoice worksflows. And then I realized, I could make this for everyone else out there who is facing the same issues. We contractors especially with multiple clients don't want to invest hours into timesheet logging and invoicing. We want to get it done fast. That's when Easy Timesheet came to life.
