DRIFT LINE is a browser-based low-poly arcade racer built around simple controls, fast turns and chasing your best time. Race two laps across Alpine Coast, hit eight checkpoints, use nitro, drift through corners and try to beat your record.
Hey Product Hunt, I'm Piyush, and this is DRIFT LINE.
I built this as an experiment to see how far AI-assisted development could go with a real browser game.
I used GPT Astra to build the game from the initial idea through the implementation and testing.
The goal was simple: make something that you can open in a browser and actually play.
You can race two laps around Alpine Coast, drift through corners, use nitro, collect checkpoints and try to beat your best time.
The game uses React, TypeScript, Three.js and React Three Fiber, with custom arcade driving physics running in the browser.
One of the challenges was getting the car to stay properly within the road boundaries. I had to iterate with Astra on the driving and collision logic until the handling felt right.
I'd really like to hear what you think about the driving, controls and overall game feel.
