I'm Pete, a solo dev, and I created Dead Man Send.
Dead Man Send lets you configure emails to be sent after a certain number of days if you don't check in. You write your message and forget about it.
Configure how many days of inactivity trigger the email sending. You're also sent reminder emails as the deadline approaches. If you don't check in before the deadline, your message is sent automatically.
Think of it as a dead man's switch for your final messages. It can also be used for less morbid things such as scheduled email reminders and business continuity.
Why did I create it?
Honestly, I wanted to create my first SaaS and have a play with some interesting technology.
I also thought this is a service I would use. Admittedly, that's probably not the greatest product validation process, but creating something is better than doing nothing.
