Hi Product Hunt!
I’m back with a major update - DASCA v1.1.1.
DASCA is a desktop app for 2D, 3D, and video creation. It lets you build complex looks using shader-based effect chains with real-time previews.
The biggest addition in v1.1.1 is Playground. A full real-time GLSL development environment built directly into DASCA.
With Playground you can:
Write and edit shaders live
Control uniforms instantly with sliders
Animate everything using a powerful keyframe timeline with advanced curve support
It basically turns DASCA into both a production tool and a shader playground at the same time.
I’ve also added many new effects based on creator feedback and continue to ship updates frequently.
I’ll be here all day answering questions.
If you’re into shaders, motion design, or visual experimentation. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Who hunted DASCA?
DASCA was hunted by Tapdig Soltanov. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
