Clipwright
Turning ideas into short slideshow videos with AI
Clipwright turns one sentence into a narrated, captioned, ready to post video. Scenes illustrated, voiceover recorded, captions timed, music scored, all from a single prompt. Built for creators, parents, and educators.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm the maker of Clipwright.
I started building this because I wanted to run a faceless short-form channel and quickly hit the same wall everyone does: the actual making of a video is death by a thousand tools. Write a script in one tab, generate a voiceover in another, find visuals somewhere else, drop it all into an editor for captions and timing. A single 30-second clip could eat an entire evening. The idea was the fun part everything after it was friction.
So Clipwright is my attempt to collapse that whole chain into one step: you give it an idea, and it writes the script, picks a voice, adds captions, and hands you a finished, ready-to-post short. No stitching four tools together.
The part I ended up caring about most wasn't the video generation - it was the writing. Early versions produced clips that technically worked but felt flat, so a lot of the work went into scripts that actually hold attention and hit the right length for retention. [That's still where I'm iterating hardest.]
It's genuinely early and I'd love your brutal feedback , especially from anyone who's made short-form content and hit these same walls. What would make this actually save you time?
Thanks for taking a look 🙏
