Why I built CLIDE I spend a lot of time working on remote servers over SSH. And sooner or later, I'd need to make a small change directly on the server - edit some code, modify an `.env` file, search for something across the project, or jump between a few different files. The usual options were Nano or Vim. They're great editors, but they never really gave me the workflow I wanted for this particular situation. I wanted something closer to an IDE: a file explorer, multiple open files, proper search, tabs, and a comfortable editing experience. I didn't want to set up a full remote development environment just to make a change on a VPS either. So I built CLIDE. It's a terminal-based IDE specifically for that awkward space between "I need to edit something" and "I need a whole remote development environment." If you regularly SSH into servers to work on code, I'd love to know what your current workflow looks like and what you'd want CLIDE to do next.
