Cimela

Free tracker for completing your Pokémon collection

Pick a set, an artist, or a single Pokémon and Cimela shows exactly how close you are to finishing it — % done by rarity, and what the missing cards cost (English + Japanese). Free, no subscription, no scan cap. Add cards by tapping what you own, scanning, or searching by name. Plus real market prices, a paid-vs-worth tracker, PSA/CGC graded values, and a sealed-pack tracker.

Top comment

Hey PH 👋 I'm the solo dev. I built Cimela because every collection app I tried either capped scans, hid the real numbers behind a subscription, or couldn't tell me the one thing I actually wanted: what did I pay vs what is this worth now. So Cimela is free, no sub, no scan cap. Scan a card or a full binder page -> live market price + paid-vs-worth on the whole collection. The part I couldn't find free anywhere: pick a set, an artist, or a single Pokémon and it builds the checklist with % done by rarity and roughly what the missing cards cost (normal + reverse holo as separate goals). Plus PSA/CGC graded values, a sealed/pack tracker, and a Nearby tab for card shops + shows. Honest limits, because I'd rather you hear them from me: it's iPhone only right now, Japanese cards get checklists but not prices yet, the scanner isn't perfect on the newest rainbow foils (search-by-name backs it up), and it's brand new so there are barely any downloads. If you try it and something's off, comment here or in-app and I'll fix it that day. Ask me anything — happy to talk scanning, pricing sources, or why I built this instead of buying Collectr.

Who hunted Cimela?

Cimela was hunted by Ben. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
