agentic coding was supposed to make us more productive, but i found myself constantly pulling out my phone to doomscroll in between prompts. this seemed like a great way to spend my building hours; agent codes while i doomscroll, but i quickly realized that i'm scrolling away precious time in my life that i can utilize on more productive tasks while the agent runs.
every focus app i tried needed me to remember to start a session. i wanted one that just knew when i was actually coding on my mac.
i built cantscroll to solve this problem for me and for other developers and vibecoders who are addicted to doomscrolling.
