Top comment
I built ByteRivet after repeatedly seeing developers, QA teams and website owners struggle to find reliable test files in exact sizes. Most existing tools either provide only a few fixed downloads, require uploads to a server, or focus on a single format. I wanted to create one place where users could generate precise test files, process PDFs and convert images directly in the browser without signing up. The first version focused on exact-size test file generation for upload limits, API validation and QA workflows. From there, ByteRivet expanded into PDF, image and document tools while keeping the experience fast, simple and privacy-focused. I’m especially interested in hearing which formats, file sizes or tools would be most useful next. Feedback is very welcome.
