Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built Breakitly on my own, in Reus, Spain.
The problem is small and very specific. In padel, the most common social format is the americano: 8, 12, 16 players, partners rotate every round, and everyone gets an individual score. Organising one means a WhatsApp group, a sheet of paper, and somebody doing arithmetic between matches. The next day nobody remembers who won.
Breakitly is that, without the paper. You create the event, share one link, and players sign themselves up. Pairings are generated, scores go in from any phone, the leaderboard updates live, and the results page still works the day after. Same for knockout tournaments, multi-week leagues and coaching groups.
Two honest caveats before you click:
1. The interface is in Spanish. I built it for clubs and groups in Spain and haven't translated it yet. If there is interest here, that moves up my list.
2. Playing is free and stays free. There are paid plans for organisers on the pricing page, but billing is switched off right now, and everything is open to everyone until the end of the year.
What I would actually like from you: tell me whether the americano format is something you would use where you play, or whether it is a Spanish habit that does not travel. That answer decides whether I translate this or keep it local.
