Brainstormform opens a real web form so your AI coding agent can ask as many questions as it needs, not just a few. Whenever I was starting a new project or wanted to make significant updates to an existing project, I would try and scope out my idea as detailed as possible. Because I am a vibe-coder and not a developer, I found that the better I scope something, the better the results are when my agent would build it.
My primairy way of doing this was to describe my idea as detailed as I can to ChatGPT and then ask it to "give me 100 questions to make you fully understand my idea/project". I would sometimes repeat this process a few times even. I would have to type out all the answers and this way, I made a PRD file which I then passed on to Claude Code or Codex.
I noticed that the coding agents usually ask just a few questions at a time, then think and possibly ask a few more. I wanted to integrate my workflow into the coding agent in a way which is agent agnostic. So I created Brainstormform, a simple tool which let's any agent create a simple web-form with unlimited questions in various question forms. It can provide context for every question and change the tone and level of detail to the person using the agent. A senior developer would get different questions than I would get.
The agent opens a real local web form with as many questions as it needs: sections, file and image uploads, conditional questions, and add follow questions while you are still answering questions. Answers come back as JSON, so it can carry straight on.
It is deliberately small: zero dependencies, runs on 127.0.0.1, and deletes your answers once the agent has read them.
