Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Alessandro, and I'm excited to finally share Belcher.
The idea came from watching local business owners struggle with bad online reviews. Many don't know the difference between a review that simply hurts their feelings and one that may actually violate Google's or Yelp's policies. They either ignore the review, respond emotionally, or waste time reporting reviews that have almost no chance of being removed.
I wanted to build something that helps business owners make smarter decisions—not false promises.
Belcher analyzes Google and Yelp reviews using AI and classifies them into three categories:
• Reviews that may legitimately violate platform policies and are worth disputing.
• Honest negative reviews that should be responded to professionally.
• Borderline cases where the outcome is uncertain.
For each review, Belcher explains its reasoning, drafts a dispute request when appropriate, or generates a thoughtful public response for legitimate criticism.
One thing that was really important to me was building this responsibly. Belcher never guarantees review removal, never fabricates evidence, never logs into review platforms, and never auto-submits disputes. It simply helps business owners understand their options and save time.
I built the entire application with Claude Code and modern AI tooling, and this is the first version. I'd genuinely love your feedback on the product, the user experience, and where you think it should go next.
