BandJerry actually has an interesting backstory. My collaborator and I had written a book about the classic New England retail store Building #19 (if you know, you know). We started using a custom built marketing agent to help market the book and, to our surprise, we ended up with a front page story about the book in the Boston Globe! We knew we were onto something there. My collaborator had been a professsional toring musician and knew that musicians could benefit from the kind of boost that got us the Globe story. Hence, BandJerry was born!
