I started Axolot because accounting for Swiss freelancers often felt stuck between spreadsheets that require too much manual work and professional tools that are difficult to understand.
I wanted to build something simpler, where QR invoices, receipts, expenses, bank transactions, bookkeeping, Swiss VAT, and exports for the fiduciary all work together in one place.
With Axolot, you can photograph a receipt and let the app extract the important details, create compliant Swiss QR invoices, reconcile payments, and prepare your VAT return without maintaining several Excel files.
The product is built and hosted in Switzerland, with a 14-day free trial and no credit card required. A perpetual licence is also available for people who do not want another mandatory subscription.
Axolot is still evolving, and I would really appreciate honest feedback about the onboarding, usability, missing features, and anything that still feels too complicated.
