Hello Product Hunters!
I’ve not talked too much about my personal story before and how that inspired what we’re building at Arcade, but this time around I’m going to. I was born deaf, and since the age of twelve, I hear with cochlear implants. I am VERY passionate about great products that do their jobs well. With my cochlear implants, I can turn them on and immediately connect with the world around me in a much more engaging and colorful way. I’m really grateful for this gift.
You may notice that our new homepage (as of today! ✨) at arcade.software has a colorful tone — and that when you create an Arcade, it has a lot of opportunities to add playful and interactive elements such as adjusting the hotspots, adding wrappers, and changing the chapters. That is all by design. I believe that life, and products, should have color! I’m not a monochrome person, and never will be.
Well, we’ve added even more color to your Arcade creator experience, literally and figuratively! We’ve just released ways to adjust your image with blurring, adding more callouts that you can customize and change targets to, and a way for you to pan and zoom within your Arcade. We paid close attention to the details along the way to ensure that it is always an easy and intuitive experience.
