Ante is a free, open source macOS terminal for AI coding agents. One board shows every AI session as working, waiting for you or idle. You also get a built in TODO list & a Pomodoro Timer in the terminal so you don't need multiple apps for it. On top of all of this, you get github-style insights on all of your ongoing & previous work! Have a look and lmk what you think :)
I run several coding agents at once and kept losing track of which one had stopped to ask me something. So I built a terminal around that problem.
Ante is a native macOS terminal (Swift, SwiftUI, SwiftTerm underneath). Each agent runs in a normal terminal session, and a Sessions board sorts them into Working / Waiting for you / Idle. The "waiting" signal comes from the agents themselves where possible. Click a session on the board and you're in it.
Other things it does:
* History straight from each agent's own session files (~/.claude/projects, ~/.codex, OpenCode's SQLite), with one-click resume
* A GitHub-style activity strip of prompts per day, because I wanted to see it
* Splits, a global show/hide hotkey that floats over whatever you're doing, themes (.itermcolors and Alacritty import), shell integration that never edits your rc files * A to-do list and a Pomodoro timer in the toolbar, for the minutes while an agent works
