AnswerWren
AI receptionist for HVAC, plumbing and electrical shops
Wren answers your business line in under a second, day and night. It takes the job details, puts emergencies through to your on-call phone, books arrival windows, and never quotes a price you did not give it. Set up from your website in five minutes.
I built AnswerWren for the shops that answer the phone from under a furnace, or not at all. When an HVAC, plumbing or electrical company misses a call, the caller does not leave a voicemail; they call the next company on the list.
Wren answers in under a second, around the clock. It reads your website and asks you five questions, then drafts what it is allowed to say, and every fact shows where it came from: your site, you, or a default you should check. On a call it takes the name, number, address and what is wrong, and emails you a two-sentence summary before the caller has hung up. Emergencies you define (gas smell, flooding, no heat with a baby in the house) go straight to your on-call phone. It books arrival windows, never clock times, and it never quotes a price you did not enter; anything it does not know gets "the office will confirm".
A few things worth saying plainly:
It is early access. Your first month is free and there is no card to sign up; you add one only when you pick a plan.
- Until you pick a plan, Wren answers a shared test line when the call comes from your own phone, so you can hear it as your office before you forward anything.
- The example call on the site is synthetic. Real calls are recorded and summarised for you, not published.
- Text alerts are coming; today it is email.
What I would most like: call it, ask what your customers ask, and tell me what it got wrong. That is how it gets better.
