The idea came from a simple but unsettling question: what if I had been born somewhere else? Not as a philosophical thought — but as something you could actually simulate and feel.
Altrevite lets you create a character in any of 170+ countries and simulate their entire life from birth to death. Every life is shaped by real demographic, economic, and cultural data (World Bank, UNDP, mortality tables) — not made-up stats.
As the "Director," you're not just watching. You can intervene: trigger events, introduce people, force choices. Change the country. Rewrite the destiny.
A few things that make Altrevite different:
→ The AI generates a continuous, coherent narrative — not disconnected events
→ The character has a real memory system (5 layers, exponential decay)
→ Mortality follows real WHO actuarial tables — lives can end unexpectedly
→ The Director mechanic means you have real agency, with meaningful costs
I built this because I believe empathy is a skill — and simulation is one of the best ways to train it.
