Hi Product Hunt 👋
I've been working on AI Tools Ratings because discovering AI products has become surprisingly easy — but deciding which one to actually use is still difficult.
There are thousands of AI directories, yet many stop at a logo, short description and affiliate link.
I wanted to build something more useful:
a place to compare and evaluate AI tools and models based on the job they're meant to do.
AI Tools Ratings currently includes:
tool and model profiles
head-to-head comparisons
alternatives
pricing information
use-case recommendations
emerging AI products and models
evidence-backed analysis
I'm also expanding the platform beyond traditional AI tools into models, agents and AI infrastructure.
For example, with new models such as Jev, the useful question isn't simply “Is it good?”
It's:
What tasks is it designed for, where does it outperform general-purpose models, and when should you not use it?
That's the direction I'm building toward.
