Afkar: Free Speed Prototyping
no-setup prototyping tool for everyone
Afkar turns your ideas into clickable prototypes. No code, no setup. Drag real components (built-in + the full Ant Design library) into phone, tablet, and desktop frames, tweak content and style, wire up clicks, and preview a working multi-screen flow right in your browser. Made for founders and non-technical builders who'd rather show than tell.
don't you wish for a tool where you just launch and start prototyping? I think many non-technical people with amazing ideas would love it. But to validate this assumption I made Afkar.
I love Figma just as much as the next designer but with every new feature launch I feel like the essence of what it was back when we had the lightweight browser based UI tool becomes too hard to find for new designers or non-technical people trying to prototype their ideas.
My solution: a tool you just launch and use. No registration. No setup. Lives in your browser. Contains a strong library of react components to drag and drop. Feels like any design tool we're used to. layout, shortcuts, etc. Nothing saved anywhere, unless you export it to share with someone else. You work in private. No tokens anxiety :)
I tried every prototyping tool I ever heard of, and the sheer friction before I can start working frustrated me. Yes there are AI prototyping tools, but there is a lot of setup required for someone coming with a idea they can't wait to prototype. Even registration is one step too many.
This basic version is free forever. A future paid one will include importing your own teams' react component library. Then drag & drop as usual.
If you find it interesting, give it a whirl and let me know what you think!
Salam!
